Who was your very first pony?

My first pony was flatfoot bluebelle.  My sister brought my other sister and I to  the store and let us pick out a toy each.  I got Bluebelle and my sister got Butterscotch.

Bowtie! I think I got her for my 3rd birthday. We were visiting my grandparents and family who lived about 10 hours away. I had a party at their house with a Daisy Duck cake. I insisted on wearing my Rainbow Brite dress. I remember that my cousin gave me some hangers. Right after I opened the hangers, Bowtie was next.

I wasn't impressed! But when we got back to the motel that night, I played with her all evening long. Who knew what kind of craziness she'd start? I've still got her, too.

Kisscurl (Krulletje)! I got her for my 4th birthday in '91, I still have her. Squirmy (Kronkel) is in the picture too, she was my second pony!

Mine was G3 Tink-a-Tink-a-Too!  My family stopped at Walgreens on the way to visit a museum and my parents let my brother and I pick out a toy each.  I remember my dad asking me if I wanted "pink or purple" (aka Pinkie Pie or Tink-a-Tink-a-Too).  Later that week, I rolled the coins in my piggy bank and went back for the Pinkie Pie!  At the time I believe I was in second grade, but there's also a slight possibility I was in first.  I still recall being slightly surprised at how much I liked the look of them in person because I was annoyed by the tv commercials because they didn't look like "real horses" (this was also around the time I started my Breyer collection).  Once I had Tink-a-Tink-a-Too in hand I was totally head over heels with ponies and I played with them constantly.  Later that year, opening the Cotton Candy Cafe and the Celebration Castle made for one of the most exciting Christmas mornings ever!  I still have all of my childhood herd, and I feel very lucky about that because for a while I feared they had gotten lost when I moved!  Also, now the ponies and Breyer horses coexist very nicely on my shelves

I got four "first ponies". I remember pretty clearly that I was 7, and I'd just finished grade 2 so it was summer of 2003 right when g3 launched, and my parents brought me to the local TRU so i could pick out a couple of toys as a reward for getting a good report card.
We were kind of just wandering through the store (I was just "getting over" Barbies so I didn't have a "type" of toy) when Razzaroo really caught my eye, and I was like, wait I found someting I like!  My parents said the sign said that there was a sale, something like "buy a playset, get a single pony 50% off", so I could get both of the playsets and choose two of the single ponies if they were something I really liked. I looked around and found the other playset with Moondancer, and then I chose Sunny Daze (she looked so bright and pretty up on that highest peg!), and Rainbow Dash.

The whole time I was trying to choose, my mum kept telling me to "get the orange one!" so a couple weeks later, we ended up back at the store and she bought me Sparkleworks too because she liked her that much.

Sunbeam. Purchased by my dad in Farmington, NM, in 1983. My sister got Twilight. I was 9 years old, and I've loved ponies ever since.  I still have all my originals and about 1000 more for company...

G3 toola roola bought her on a whim while thrifting then started looking online about who she was found out about mlp collectors and here I am

My mom claims I had some g2s as a kid which i remember seeing on the store shelves issue is I was never into brightly coloured toy horses as a kid

G1 Minty, though I think I called her Lucky Clover or something! I didn't have many ponies when I was a kid, but I vividly remember Minty
As an adult collector, the first G1 I bought was a ff Minty. When I unwrapped her from her bubble mailer, I got a little teary eyed.
