I'm rather dissapointed by the playset.
The fact that it is pretty much one color makes it look really cheap. The Flurry Heart figure looks equally cheap.
And hey, another Cadance that looks like all the other ones. Myeeeeeeh.

I don't know what the show designers are thinking nor do I know what Hasbro is thinking but now earning the alicorn status seems kind of moot =/

It seems like being born an Alicorn is not the regular way it happens.

I love that they were shocked.  Being born an alicorn must be very rare.

That was my thought. I'm so interested to see what season 6 will reveal about this.

I wonder if Twilight was shocked at the size of the wings rather than simply the fact that the pony is an alicorn. Maybe they'll fix her by sucking some of the fat out of Fluffy Heart's wings and injecting them into Scootaloo's wings, that way they can both fly.

On repeated viewings she seems to be a very pale pink. Kinda a little like in between her parent's colors.

Of course the baby is a pink female alicorn.
I'm not particularly amused by her name/design but not all surprised.

As much as I dislike Flurry Heart being a pink girl alicorn, my love for Alicorns in general means that I must get her into my pony collection. xD

On repeated viewings she seems to be a very pale pink. Kinda a little like in between her parent's colors.

So she is somewhat like how (IIRC) Celestia's color is apparently a very very light pink - i think someone used one of those "color picker" options in a photo program and said her color was on the "pink side", but she looks like a white Alicorn. If that made ANY ssense. xD

Well what else can you expect from those two. The baby was going to be a combination of features of both parents and Cadence is pink as pink can be so the baby was definitely going to have pink somewhere even if it was just the hair and you can't have pink on a boy because that's just not allowed no siree bob.

Does anyone else think the toy version looks a lot like a Baby Celestia, aside from the body color?  I mean, the hair colors, the way her hair swoops over to the side . . . even the crown looks familiar.

I'm fine with how Flurry looks. (In cartoon, not in toy - the pink clear plastic is kinda tacky) but being deprived any further info about the princess toys we already have (Skyla, goldlily, sterling) makes me want to know about them even more!

I think it's weird that the previous newborns have simple dot eyes and she has the more detailed eyes of the children/adults.

They never said that ALL alicorns earn the status.... in canon, so far only Cadence and Twilight are confirmed ascended alicorns. Celestia and Luna are most likely natural born. Sources have stated after all, that "Twilight will not outlive her friends"..... Celestia and Luna are a couple thousand years old at least. Natural born alicorns are probably VERY rare and special... and I think she's adorable! She's the pony Dumbo, but with wings instead of ears!! And I think the reason her toy is so pink is because the castle lights up, remember?? And she's clear... so SHE'LL light up too, appearing much paler pink once lit up. Also.... NEW CASTLE!!! Do the new castle dance, everyone!! I'm getting my castle fix again this year!! FIVE PLAYSETS FOR MY NEW APARTMENT!!!
