POTD 1/22/2016 Princess Cadance

Not my favorite Princess, but I love her design.  I have a small army of her- one Blind Bag, a couple of brushables, all 3 Fashion Styles, a Funko, a POP!, a BaB and Funrise plush, and the talking one.

I'm really wanting to get the Snowglobe and Glowing Hearts Cadance, but they are going to be a little pricey.

Eeeeek That's my favorite gal! I have I think every toy version of her released so far including a prototype except for the those Kinder surprise toys and that snow globe "Rainbow Shimmer" water cutie toy. I've been looking for it with no luck! The US didn't get any and I was so dissapointed! Someday! Ive also got cards, stickers, and coloring books with her on it! Her and Fluttershy are my top favorite characters in the entire MLP franchise- nothing is more powerful than love and kindness!

I really like this pony overall; the only thing I don't like is that her head is more eye than face.

Also painted her for the fair last year- sold out so I'll be making extra prints this year.

I'll pass, the colour scheme is a bit... full-on. I do like the transparent purple wings, though; they're a nice touch!

I like the character ok but I'm not really keen on any of the toy representations so I'll pass.

That's awesome that you reunited the girl with her pony. :3

I have FS (CMM), normal brushable (not talking) , plushie, blind bag, and rainbowfied blind bag so I picked army.

I also had her funko vinyl at one point too but not anymore. I hope to get her color funko mystery mini someday though, maybe.

I have the giant singing one and I have at least one plush... but I don't think I have any blind bag or regular brushables of her, somehow! Even though she is the pretty pink princess bride that epitomizes every stereotype that Hasbro thinks little girls want, I do kinda like her. I would like to have some of the other releases that I don't have.

She was a prototype, the only one I've seen besides the ones hasbro had originally shown.

I have a story involving that talking bride Cadence...

I remember going to WalMart one night with my dad and as usual I checked the pony aisle. Some obnoxious kids showed up at the aisle and were practically shouting in the aisle which one they wanted (they seemed to care more for the Equestria Girls dolls, ewww). I spotted a very beat up talking bride Cadence with extreme matted hair, no accessories, and chipped paint sitting there with no packaging, a very well-loved pony. I picked it up and took it with me, imagining how I could fix up the hair and such. I showed it to my dad and he too (he has no interest in ponies) was interested by how it got there. We went to pay for our stuff and I asked the cashier about the Cadence and she had no idea. She called up the manager, who showed up and said that a women called and said her child was missing a pink pony and remembered leaving it at the store, the manager said she would call them as soon as the pony was found. I gave the manager the Cadence and remember walking out of that WalMart somewhat bummed about not being able to restore, but happier that a child would reunite with their favorite pony toy. I remember having an intense fear of losing my Pokemon plushies as a kid so I understand perfectly what this child was going through.

What a great story! Good for you for talking to the manager and helping that toy find its rightful home.

When I was a little kid I brought G1 Daddy Sweet Celebrations to school and lost him. I was so upset all day, but then a teacher found him and brought him to me just as I was leaving for the day. It was the best feeling in the world to be able to get back something you thought you lost forever, especially for a little kid. I'm sure you made that girl very happy.

Well i love cadance, she is one of my favorite ponies in g4 but i still don't have any figures of her.But i compensate that with my artisan hand-made plushie of her.
