I have a pony like this too in my collection, does anyone know why they scraped the markings off?

The moulds used to make the ponies were modified to remove the Hong Kong mark either by scraping away of filling in the hoof stamp.Love pkw xxx

Like, is there a another way to tell other than the scraped hoof?

Like, is there a another way to tell other than the scraped hoof?I know it's not someone scraping the pony because all of the NC wingers I've bought come from non collectors who don't know or care if a pony in NC or not. They just want to sell it. And I don't think a collector with common sense would scrape a pony. NC Wingers have very slight differences with the HK/China counterparts. I had two Moonjumpers and the NC one had a slight different pose, the head was lower. And my NC Moonjumper was a little bit lighter than the HK.I had the same doubts as you concerning this set. The first NC winger I got, I was worried it would be someone messing around. In fact, I have a childhood Flurry and it's marked HK (or china, can't remember), but I know there is an NC too. So my only theory is that in the spanish factory they where very "chapuzas" or messy and did things the quick way. So instead of going over with hot plastic, like other NC ponies or modifying the mold, they cut bits off.
