New McD ponies in February

Bought a happy meal, kiddo got Pinkie Pie and her tail changes from white to pink. Bummed, we were hoping for Starlight Glimmer.

Does anyone know if McDs only opens new boxes of different ponies (ie. Wave 2 = toys 3 & 4, or Fluttershy and Buttonbelle) on a schedule? As in, do they open a box of 2 new ponies every Friday and distribute a new wave of toys each week? Or if is it strictly based on stock availability? I'm beginning to wonder if McDs is annoyed by me for checking so often to see if new ponies have arrived yet... 

Depends. Sometimes we get all the boxes at once or a few at a time depends on the truck delivery. We tend to open boxes when we run out or if someone asks if we have a certain one. They are usually grouped 1&2 3&4 5&6, etc. It's never on a schedule, it's simply until we run out or new toys come in.

Also not all McDonalds get in the toys in exact order. While some may get in 1&2 (pinkie pie and rainbow dash) others may get in ponies that are on down the line such as 7&8(starlight glimmer and coco) in first.

I think Starlight Glimmer is supposed to be with Rarity?
The McDs I was at had Twilight Sparkle and Coco as #5 and #6, and Rarity/SG were the only two ponies they didn't have at the time.

I'm looking for Starlight too.  Got Rainbow Dash and Pinky today, will check out a different McD's on Monday and a third one Tuesday.  The Rarity looks real good this time around.

I got all 8 today. Just ask for the "customer satisfaction box". You can buy all of them at once, no happy meal required.
They charged around 2.00 each.

I was going to only get Pinkie Pie but I was hungry after a long day of errands so we stopped and got me a Happy Meal for an afternoon snack... Now I have a Buttonbelle too. She's cute!!
