Are yellow ponies one of the most popular color among collectors?

Tic-Tac-Toe, Masquerade, Tootie Tails, Alphabittle, Fluttershy, Kiwi Tart, Lemony Gem.

Yellow ponies always seem to be among the most beautiful and Hasbro always has this knack for using the best colors and symbols to compliment them, be they simple, or be they unusual.

Would you say that yellow ponies are some of the most popular and sought out as a whole among collectors? Or is only because Hasbro made the extra effort to make them lovely everytime?

I love them and wish I had more room for more yellow ponies and yellow is NOT one of my favorite colors.

I don't know if they're popular among collectors but they're popular with me.

Bubbles, Squirmy, Posey, Bouncy and Skydancer are only some of my favorites.

I have Posey and SHS Twinkler and think they are lovely.  Oh, and two Skydancers.  And sparkle Baby Gusty.  I don't really seek out yellow ponies, though.

Uhh if I am any indication, I would have to say YES!  Many of my favorite ponies are yellow - Tex, Squirmy, Bubbles...

So it's not just me huh?  I really love yellow ponies, I think they are lovely~  G3 Merriweather is one of my favorite ponies because of that lovely buttercup yellow she is!

Both of my current ones are yellow, Bubbles and Posey.  Yellow is one of my favourite colours though I didn't go looking for either of them.

I can't remember where I found Bubbles but Posey came from the charity shop round the corner for the bargain price of 50p!

I don't know if I've ever really thought of it that way, but yes I do love many of the yellow ponies. Posey, Rose Dust & Skydancer were all in my childhood herd. And I've added many since: Baby Squirmy, Tic-Tac-Toe & Baby, and I'm sure if I think about it longer I'd remember many others (I'm
Not at home at the moment to go check). And I don't know much about recent ponies, but I do like Fluttershy's colours more than any of the others I've seen. So yes, I do like yellow ponies a lot!

For some reason yellow ponies seem to be sought after o.O.

I had Masquerade as a kid. Not sure if I had any others.. Oh, Sunburst, of course. And squirmy. Oh, and Baby Tic Tac Toe, now I reflect on it. Ah. Hrm. Baby Sunbright and Jazzie were there as well...Baby Lollipop, too.

...so maybe I did go for yellow ones! But I don't think I identified that it was the yellowness itself, I think I just chose ponies who weren't insipid pink wherever I could. I remember I DIDN'T choose Napper, I chose Sky Rocket instead, because I thought Napper was dull (though her body colour was ok..? xD)

Yellow ponies are pretty though. Red Roses, Diamond Dreams and Starry Wings spring to mind.

I just figure that yellow is a color that looks good with every other color in the universe (Correct me if I'm wrong), and at least for me, I like a lot of ponies for the color combinations.

I'm not fond of yellow as a colour either. But yes. There are beautiful yellow ponies, Posey and Fluttershy are two of my favorite ponies full stop. Dancing butterflies is stunning, I agree with  Sparkle Pony, that g3 Merryweather is just sooo pretty. Actually the g3 line was great for yellow ponies! Pretty pop, meadow brook, kiwi tart, Anchors away, Bright's Brightly (oh why did I sell her) and candy apple to name a few! G2 had lovely butterfly/sky skimmer. In fact yellow with pale pink hair is one of my favorite colour combos. I also really.like g2 teddy also.

I wouldnt specification say they are more sought after, I think green ponies are more so, but I do think they reserved yellow for some.of the loveliest ons out there!

Heh. I forgot Dancing Butterflies. I had her too. I guess I DID have a lot of yellow ponies as a kid then...must be something in this appeal theory!

Ooh, I love yellow ponies, especially Posey - she went on a range of adventures when I was a kid (even cheekily snuck her into school one day!) It is an absolutely superb colour on ponies; it's very uplifting and it works well with a variety of themes for symbols... aaand now I'm thinking of all the nice yellow ponies I'd like to add to my herd someday. *daydreaming about Masquerade, Sand Digger and Dancing Butterflies*
