The Little White Horse

[The Little White Horse]

She is my second custom and based off Elizabeth Goudge's book - The Little White Horse. My favourite book of all time. As you can guess my username comes from there and also because my first ever horse was a white beauty.

She's painted in acrylics. She used to be a G3 Fashion Style Rarity - the horror to paint in white.  I used, Diamond, Glow in the Dark White, Water Nixie, Vocal, Purple Mountain and Spring Meadow for her hair.
She wasn't easy to paint, and I'm still learning so she probably has some imperfections.

So here she is, The Little White Horse. Painted on her are various characters from the book.

On her back, Wiggins - Maria's dog. And the sun. Representing the sun Merryweathers.

On this side we have:

The Music notes, that come out of the piano (it plays itself).

The Cockerel, that belongs to the De Noir family who live in the pinewood.

And finally, The Little White Horse. She comes from the sea.  And she helps Maria.
The Little White Horse and Wrolf are symbols of the Merryweather family.

Thanks! I'd had the idea building for some time now, and I just wanted to make her real.  The sea part is my favourite bit too. And it's one of the most important elements in the book, so I tried to make it stand out.

Yeeaaah, the G3 styling repaint is the first and last one I'm doing in white.  I don't know if you saw my first custom, Ascella? She's for my fiancé and is also a styling size G3 but she was sooo much easier to paint because her base is black.  Basically 3 layers for Ascella, and I stopped counting after 6 for The Little White Horse.
