Thanksgiving weekend: bad or good time to sell?

I'm tempted to list some ponies on eBay today and tomorrow, but that would mean they'd end on the Friday / Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Good or bad idea?  Will people still be on their "Black Friday, ready to shop" kick, or will they be busy running around town for non-virtual Black Friday deals?

The following Monday is now "Cyber Monday", for whatever that's worth. But I read somewhere the best time to end an auction is a Sunday evening- that way bidders have had all weekend to covet Item and *have the evening free to sit around and watch/lurk/bid.

Probably not a great time because people will be doing last minute meal shopping. Better to do it after.

I say yes, so long as they end  the weekend after.  There may be some retail therapy going on after the stress of all that cooking and family!

Thanks for the input, guys!  I've decided I am going to list some stuff, partly because I have the Monday after Thanksgiving off as well, which will be good for mailing items.
