Poll: Do you own Baby Gametime and/or Baby Sugarcake?

I own them both but purchased separate over a decade apart!

I have them both and was very fortunate to have gotten them together in an eBay BIN.  I believe I have heard at least twice that there were more of Baby Gametime made than Baby Sugarcake but I am not certain if that is true.  I also remember hearing from a collector who mailed away for Baby Sugarcake during childhood state that she received a note from Hasbro that they were out of stock of Sugarcake and so she was sent Baby Gametime instead.  Cannot remember who stated that so maybe someone can confirm!

I own Baby Gametime.  I found her at a yard sale.  $5 for her and another g1, a g2, and a g3.  I'll never forget because it happened to be my birthday when I found her.

baby sugarcake is soooo cute. She's my favorite between the two... I don't have either. I didn't know they existed when I was a kid!

I have both & recently sold my extra Baby Gametime (I bought a second one to get her accessories). Both were equally hard to find for me. They were among the last 5 ponies I needed to complete my US G1 collection.

I don't have either of them and don't see myself ever getting them. I would definitely put Sugarcake on my want list if she were an order of magnitude cheaper, but for some reason I actively dislike Gametime.

That might have been KarentheUnicorn, as I have had the same conversation with her some years back - she might come and see this thread herself but as I remember from what she told me Sugarcake was the only MO she didn't get as a kid because Hasbro ran out of stock and sent the apology card. So I would guess Sugarcake is less in production, or more in demand...dunno.

I have Gametime but I can't actually remember how I got her. I know it was a long time ago, probably around the same time I got most of my mail orders, when prices were lower and trading was better. Sugarcake is the last mail order, last US release pony, last general release normal pony I need to complete my loose collection, and I have been looking for her since...about 2000 . Her current price, though, means that my chances of ever getting her are probably nil.

I have ironically seen two in the last few months though in person here in the UK - one at ponycon and one in Wondermint's very pretty museum display.

Just curious.  Does anyone have a side by side photo of their pin the tail next to the Party Pack game?  I've heard the blue color is a bit different.  I'm using party pack accessories as stand-ins for my display and would love to see a comparison!  Is the bandana identical to one of the baby brothers?

There is a seller on ebay that just listed 2 lots of accessories 1 with the game, the other with the scarf.

I love them as girls, but wouldn't it be amazing if the boy protos showed up.  They'd make amazing customs
