Show me your small collection displays!
« on: October 20, 2015, 03:11:52 AM »
Right now, my ponies are sadly displayed high up in a kitchen cabinet with glass doors, and it´s getting crowded in there. I don´t have enough space for a big shelf, nor the money for new expensive furniture, so I need to see how the rest of you with smaller collections  display them so I can get some inspiration.

Are you utilizing risers? Those are the best for small areas. I made my own from foam core.

My collection is not so tiny anymore, but a picture of the original ponies from my childhood are in my sig.  Just an open bookcase.. I have a facebook toy collector friend who has bought baskets and shelves, even a cool antique looking briefcase and hung them sideways on the wall to display small dolls and ponies, etc.  ^.^ Have fun finding ways to display!

I really like these little box shelf ... Things for displaying ponies, especially G4's and 2's they are the perfect dainty size :) your collection looks good.

I used to, but now they´re in shelves so high up that I can´t even see them properly. It I come up with a new display-idea I will use risers again :-)

Back when I first started collecting, I just used the space on top of my computer desk. It was almost all blind bags, so I could fit a lot.

It's a bit crowded in this one, but it's the earliest picture of my collection.

Ah yeah. My ponies are literally next to the ceiling.. (some are 2 inches away) @__@; That's why I built the risers , I wouldn't be able to see all of them if they weren't there.

I didn't want my G4s to monopolize my space, so I only display 1 of each pony. I store my variants. I have them on an expandable spice rack.

thanks :) i bought it in one of the supermarkets located here, in poland, called netto. it's operating only in a few european countries, sadly. but i bet you can find similar stuff in chain stores in us. i've also seen pictures of many cute shelves, which people bought in thrift stores

@meskhtyw-i will have to keep a lookout for something similar. :) Those would be perfect for baby ponies, blind bags and g4 brushables.

This is my entire collection but I'm pretty sure it's small compared to most people's.
