Ooh how lovely!!!!! All those trees!!!

Just coming by here real quick to update my allergies! I just found out the hard way I'm allergic to shiitake mushrooms!? We made fried rice two nights ago, we went to the Asia market and bought fresh ones to add in the rice! I'm STUPID and was like, " Oh! These smell delicious, I'm going to wash them off and eat them!" before frying them for the rice since the package came with so many.  I ate them raw! O____o now I have purple streaks all over my belly, legs, back, and this rash that is severe on my arms!! Antihistamines havnt been helping and I had to get a shot on my hip. Apparently there is even something called the "Shiitake Raw Rash"  so I'm not alone!? Soooo weird and RANDOM but yeah no real Shiitake in my Swap box please ha-ha! Although ornaments would be cute! x3

oh no!!! that stinks. hopefully it will clear up soon.
are shiitake mushrooms something people have sent in boxes
i guess savory is preferred over sweets by some.
*hugs* i found the hard way that i'm allergic to amoxicilin. so i understand... though i don't think anyone would give that to someone as a gift.

Wow, a lot of conversation! Xeevee those trees are amazing! I love all the architecture of all the buildings around you!

I pretty much have all the supplies, now I just need to get making ornaments! I feel like such a slacker with so many of you that are almost done! Yikes! I've had a church event I'm doing decorations for, so I've been very busy with that! It is this Sunday though, so that will help to have that done with! And now that today was pay day I can get the goodies too! I know exactly what I want to get for my partner!

ribbon or hooks on ornaments?
I mostly use hooks, because they are cheap to buy and easy to put on, but I like ribbon too so whatever my partner wants to do is fine with me!

I spent like $15 buying Christmas wrapping paper haha. They had such cute ones!! I got ponies, mickey and Minnie, mickey and friends, and paw patrol because they were all adorable! Lol

Oooh Xeevee so jealous, I miss Germany during the winter so very much! I had such a tiny apartment when I was there but I went nuts at Globus and decked it to the max haha. Oh I miss the festivals, food (pumpkin duck soup?!), decorations, and just the spirit everywhere. I can't wait for December. There are just a few more items I need for my partner, and my package will be good to go. I am trying to be as prescriptive as possible and have to await a few items from online so it's juuust perfect I'll also update my questions here soon.

On a sadder note, to my partner, my beloved Gaia passed away two days ago unexpectedly.  I am not expecting a pet themed gift or anything but if you wanted to include one still that would be fine. I'd like to surround myself this Christmas with things that remind me of her, it was her favorite time of year and her birthday month.

BethyVic, I have seen teasers where the person didn't wrap the things first, but took photos of items in Silhouette.  But certainly wrapping makes it easier.  You do have to wrap everything anyway.  And the teaser should not just be of the things in the box without them being disguised in some way.

I am really sorry for your loss, CapnChan.  Losing a pet is so hard, they are such important parts of our families.

I know this is kinda sucky since poor CapnChan just posted about losing her pet. The big reason behind my absence here was Suki being so sick and basically dying. She passed away last week, and it's been hard on me. We did take in a younger dog this weekend because I thought it might be good for CObi since  he has been acting depressed. Things related to Suki though are hard on me and make me burst into wild crying. I know I've almost always gotten ornaments in this swap related to my pets, and if you got something of Suki dear partner I don't want you to feel like you cannot send it. Please just wrap it well and label it, so I can put it aside and open it when I'm ready which does mean it might be a while.

I also updated all my questions from the ones on the front.
