I just got back to London about a half hour ago, am totally beat but am going back again tomorrow regardless xD.

I saw lots of interesting weird ponies, cool collection ponies, gorgeous Brazilian ponies...accessories, stickers, ponies of all generations though 1 and 4 most strongly represented.

What I bought - two very cute Peruvian babies from SavethePonies who was lovely and gave me a discount on Baby CC because we agreed she was "lonely" without Baby Bow Tie. The two of them will have to wait a while though before they get to reunite with Baby Medley and Baby Blossom, though, as they are at my family home.

The German variant Princess Amber/Topaz (?) with pink hair from (I believe that was Whitney)...
Some pony comics (trade with LadyG)
And a bunch of random accessories - most exciting of which for me is Swinger's bow clip as its the only one I have never seen before Also Brush and Grow clips, ribbons, combs, Twirler's Earrings (which I had and lost) and a few other bits and pieces.
Baby Sunribbon (Silky hair version and her US release brush; I forget who that was from) and Baby Mischief (made in Hong Kong) to complete my random family of Baby Mischief variations (at least I hope it's now complete!)

I can't really edit or mess with pictures or upload them well on this PC but I managed this one - this is what my uni room shelf now looks like

(Truly, Trickles, Tropi and the 2 later gen ponies were already in residence, but they acquired some new friends...)


Who I saw : Aside from the above mentioned, Magick, Sel (Reaperfox), Archer (in the hugest Pony dress ever xD), Sebby and a lot of others...
Who was missed - definitely! PKW.

It was very busy though; I've never known a Ponycon that busy though it's been a few years since I last went.

My thought for the day: BBE Sunlight is just plain SCARY.

I saw no UK comics on stalls though - not G1 anyway.

Oh! I'm so happy to see Star Hopper on a banner, she's one of my favourites! So was there a space theme?

You guys got so much cool stuff, that must be so fun I wonder if I'll be able to go some year.

I was wondering if there are lots of stalls/ponies to buy, or if you have to get there really early and it's a mad dash for everything? Are there any other events during the day, or is it mainly stalls?

I'm thinking I'd like to come next year if the location is fairly ok to get to, and there's enough to do for at least half a day, if not a whole day!

There will have been lots of stalls selling everything from vintage ponies to new ponies as well as arts and crafts and custom ponies.

I got NO pictures at all  guess it serves me right for doing double duty as one of the committee AND having a stall. I got back home today, absolutely beyond-tired but all ponied out for another year

I echo what DaisyD said. You were definitely missed, PKW Hope you're feeling better!!

@Rachael - this was the first con for me in a few years and the Saturday Sunday thing was kinda nice to do - first time I did the two days. There were stalls the whole time through and panels running at different times in different rooms on all kinds of different subjects which you could go to as you liked - or games, activities, competitions and such.

I only bought accessories on the second day but there was still a lot of stuff available to be bought, depending on what you were looking for.

I went to a couple of panels (Summer's and LadyG's) but mostly was just hanging out with people, buying ponies and accessories and such. Was really nice to catch up with some folk I hadn't seen in a very long time and also to put faces to some names for the first time, which is one of the nicest things about ponycon for me.

That and being surrounded by people who don't find it odd if you flap about finding a particular colour wand/shoe/clip in a bag of others!

I am really happy with my new additions this year, too. I am amazed I managed to get Lily back to my hall without her wings getting damaged but she's safe on my shelf and she's gorgeous. As for the Peruvian babies, if I had photoshop on here they'd already have a photo adventure in my university room...

I think it's still well worth coming to I was worried that maybe after the last time I was there it was going to become swallowed up by the G4 fever but it's balanced out quite nicely. There was a lot of G1 and G4 but still some G2 and G3 and a lot of customs, art work, stuff like that available too. The pony community has some really talented people.
