I'm actually REALLY shocked that I like these.  I'm against small and molded, but I won't lie, I'm getting slowly addicted to these figures.
My only complaint?  I wish they could stand on their own.  Their hair is so durn heavy they keep toppling over.  Not to mention their joints are a little loose, so it's hard to just stand them up to display.  If they didn't articulate the joints, or at least made the joints stiffer to where they could stand properly, they'd be perfect in my book.  Pinkie is especially challenging to keep upright.

And I just noticed something... Rarity's hair has a seam line... with a bit of a gap.. I see a white ear peeking through! That means if I do custom her I will not have to worry about sculpting an ear \o/

They need to be packaged with stands in a serious way.

with the way they are designed, stands would be a little tricky.. Maybe not so much for the ones with shorter hair but the others you couldn't get a stand around their waist.. and due to some of the leg joints being loose, a peg stand that the feet pop onto will not work either...

I don't know, Shoppies stands work perfectly for them.  They're what I use to display them.  They pop right on and are good to go.

Shoppies have stands? This is new to me as I haven't taking mine out of box yet.. what do they look like? And what do they look like on the Mini EQGs?

Edit: Are they the kind of stands that have a peg for the bottom of the feet? If so they still wouldn't have worked for my Rarity XD She would have been bending backwards due to loose hip joints lol.

I was worried sine they weren't in the upcoming product descriptions but since Sunset has been confirmed via photo despite her not being mentioned in the descriptions I hope this means we will be seeing the Rainbow Rocks minis soon.

If we eventually get some Dazzlings chibis...I don't know WHAT I'm gonna do!  I kind of (desperately) need an Adagio figure in my life.

it looks like all the ones shown at the toy fair are from the first movie. well maybe not the pajama sets (10$ sets) they seem more random, but the rest are all directly from the first movie.
this gives me hope that we'll get other characters from the other movies.
trixie!! the sirens. more flash in his regular outfit. i really love these things. i might have accidentally bought a ton of them already.

Sorry for bumping an old thread. Does anyone know where to find the singles in Australia? I've had no luck with Big W and Target.

Edit: Found them at Kmart! $10 each...
