It also was doing as poorly as Pop so I guess this is Hasbro's way of saving both lines.

Don't care about Pop ponies but the packaging looks good and it is nice there are some new characters.

Fusion is a cheap tactic to make weak toy lines stronger.

Well, I guess this is less confusing a name than Pop. I never did get why they were called that, tbh...

I don't think the old packaging helped them sell. They are basically kids craft kits and kids love stuff they can make themselves (the old Design-a-Pony suffered from not being able to do much other than color on it). Instead of showcasing what you could make they showcased the pieces and only had a tiny render in the corner. Pinkie Pie's house in the box set did better because it showed what you were building completed. It also looks like they ditched the weird felt, fake fur or whatever else manes that never looked right.

Did they release Big Mac and DJ Pon3? I saw pictures and listings but never actually saw them in stores or online (for sale). And those were Pop, so now that they changed the name they forgot about them? I really wanted Big Mac :(

I definitely want one of the Rarity Wing Kits. I have a Pop Rarity and having the winged version, too, would be neat. Especially if I get to use markers and make her wings unique to my Rarity.

Makes sense as a move as this lets them capture the part of the market they were originally actuallly after with the line.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
Loa is my love god!
I love Loa more than PonyLady!
