Even as a kid I didn't really care for beads like this.  I don't know if I'll get these.  It kind of depends on how they look when I see them in the store.  Sometimes merchandise looks kind of blah in pictures so I don't plan to buy it but then when I see it on the shelves it jumps out and screams take me home.

This one looks kind of odd. I've never seen any toy with bead hair like this, but MLP is really the only toy line that I keep up with, so I have no idea if this is something that's popular with another toy.  The concept is a neat one, but I think you'd need smaller beads to make a good looking substitute for hair, and that's obviously not going to happen for a toy aimed at small children. I'll have to see what others can really do with it before I can really say whether or not I like it.
To be honest, I never seen a toy with hair like this.. and the beads for AJ's hair is completely different

Only reason I'd ever get one is if the bodies are not hard plastic like i think they are.. then I could just custom them XD

What the eeeeeeck?!

well, at least they're being imaginative. I wonder what the rest will look like. But it's not my cup of tea.

Ayy lmao.

This is the weirdest form of 'customization' I've ever seen. The switch-mane G2s were better, they were pretty with both combinations. These though are plain wonky. Gave me a great laugh still.

The kids can have 'em. An interesting concept but I don't think they're for me... unless I like whatever they do to Rarity.

I had an idea XD
If one of my stores ever gets these and I see them the day they are put out, I'd like to keep track of how well they sell with this gimmick XD
I think not only will the Gimmick factor in but the price too
My DeviantArt, why not drop by and take a look!

I think I'm behind here!  Are these beads that you can "cut" off and then pop them back on?  I was nervous at first they expect you to have 5 minutes of fun and then cut off all the beads permanently, leaving you with nothing but a regretful child.  Still, this could be really fun for little kids!

I think these are more for kids than collectors. If kids hate them and they do nothing but shelf-warm, I'll eat my words, but for now I think they're adorable and creative toys.

Well, at least Applejack. I'll admit Pinkie looks kind of atrocious.

Well, these certainly are. .......... interesting. A.J. I could see liking when I was a kid. But that Pinkie Pie looks strange. And I can only imagine how many parents are going to end up stepping on beads after they have been left over the floor.

I can't imagine me liking them when i was a kid. Mostly because...that really doesn't look like hair.
Than again, i also was a kid that never had the urge to cut the manes of ponies. Eh.
I agree that better things can be done. Like the manes you could switch around with G2 or...anything that still makes it look like hair instead of tentacles. I'm also amazed that even with such an odd gimmick these still look boring.
