G3 Baby Dancing Butterflies

Hello all!  I finally finished re-hairing her a few days ago.  She's been sitting around waiting forever but life intervened and I just couldn't get to her until now.  I like the way she turned out, though I wish the wings were more delicate,as I had envisioned them.  I was kind of going for the classic swan pose when they swim on the water and puff up their wings.

She was made from a G3 baby (can't remember the name) that had a bad hair cut, a symbol rub and bite marks on the leg.  Unfortunately, I forgot to fix the bite-marks so those are still there, but she's got new symbols and a fancy set of wings.  Anyway, here she is.  Thanks for looking!

Oh wow she turned out so precious and she looks great next to Mommy! I love how she's got a softer color scheme but still looks enough like her mum that you can recognize her.

Thank you everyone!  At first I picked out a hair color to match Adult Dancing Butterflies, but after looking at photos of baby Dancing Butterflies I saw that her hair and body color were lighter than the adult version. So I decided to match the hair color for the custom to the G1 baby version rather than the adult.   I really like how she turned out though next time I make wings I'm going to make the individual feathers smaller for smaller wings.  I've gotten used to making the wings on G3 adults and didn't scale them down to fit the baby.  Oh well, next time!

She is super cute! I, too, love the paler yellow tones you used. Looks like Hasbro did this on a number of babies (Moondancer and Glory come to my mind) although they did not follow it consistently. I think pastel shades suit the baby ponies beautifully. ^.^ Great job on the wings and symbols too! The wings look so fluffy and soft, I do get the swan vibe.
