Is this for real?
« on: July 17, 2015, 11:56:54 AM »
I need a Nirvana pony expert here. A relatively new member of a FB group I admin on has posted this for sale starting at $1000 and is attempting to run an auction.

But is this item really real? There appears to be a confusion over whether this is genuine or not and whether or not this actuallybelongs to the seller. Can anyone please help on this?

This is the photo he posted.

I saw this on there as well. I'm interested in knowing what the experts say :) I did recommend it gets a PC here :) There is no MLP logo anywhere :/

Yes, I believe this is real. The pony in the box is one of the odd Italians that were stilll a bit of an enigma with their differences to standard Italian Ponies. Couldn't give a PC on something like this as it is the first known of its kind.

SoSilver has more info about this particular company (but I will leave that to him so I don't get it wrong!)

Thanks, we are all a little jumpy about this one. The seller appears to have come from nowhere with something a little out of our depth!  When the seller was asked on another FB group to provide feedback, he seems to have evaded the question and got booted out.

Obviously I can't speak to the credibility of the seller, as I don't know them, but I do believe the item itself exists :) It certainly explains a few things!

Nice to see one boxed!

These ponies have been seen before and one has been in the community for a long time.  They do have their own folder in the nirvana gallery.

The previous information we had was that they where sold in triplets with two regular Italian Collectors pose ponies making up the other two. The boxes where the clear bubble stable style and with room for three ponies.

I didn't know about these. How interesting! And are they considered real mlp or fakies? Not having any hasbro  markings and such. Or are these some pre-hasbro stamp like the piggies in Spain?

I saw the blue one elsewhere, and I was wondering about it! This solves the mystery! Can't we ask the seller to donate the pic of this mib to the gallery? :)

I've been doing some research and Furga is an Italian doll manufacturer.

I wonder what the back of the box says? On looking at the front it shows a pink, blue and yellow/caramel pony. We've seen the a few of the pink pony and at least one of the caramel pony ^.^
