G1 Twinkled Eyes! Tail length?

Do the second set of TEs have longer tails or have I just been inspecting ponies for way too long at one setting??  My Quackers just came in Saturday and upon a good look over, I noticed her tail was quite longer in comparison to my other ponies.. then I thought perhaps it was just a TE thing.? So, I pulled out all my other childhood TEs and did notice Locket also has an interestingly longer tail..? Any insight is appreciated!

Hum, interesting. I had to run straight up to my pony self to compare, but I don't think my ponies have any significant difference in tail length between the first and second set TE's. In fact, some of my firs set ones seemed to have a bit longer tails than some of my second set ones.

It's really weird!    I know some TEs manes are shorter than others (Sweet Pop, Fizzy..) but just thought there was something going on with the tails..It is a significant difference..

Could the length have anything to do with the hair style? Both Quakers & Locket ... Sweetie Pop, Wizzar, SkyRocket, The SweetStuff too came originally with curly hair.

With about 90% of the G1s you put the tail through the hooves and it should end at the neck seem.

Hmm! My Quackers and Locket's tails go way past their neck seam and hit the bottom of their eye.. My Sweet Pop has a normal tail length and my Sweet Stuff has had a hair cut so I can't compare.. I don't have the others you mentioned, but my Galaxy has factory wavy hair and has a normal tail length. My Quackers & Locket no longer have their factory curls so I wonder if that is the difference..?
I wonder about the others..

My Locket has an extra long tail too. I don't have Quackers to compare, but my Locket's tail is noticeably longer than all the other TE ponies I own.

I also think the original curls are the answer for the longer hair.

Could be. Maybe pose has something to do with it too, if you have another pony in the Quackers pose you might be able to compare them and see if they're longer then other Earth pony molds

Didn't think about that! The only other one I have in that pose is Princess Starburst, but she has a regular length tail..

Haha, Ikr?! I'm still leaning towards the second set / factory curls thing..

As mentioned, its the curls Curly hair is a little longer than straight when straightend out on ponies.

My flea market locket has pretty long tail. I wasn't too sure as what to think about. I do love her though.
