I'm creating this thread for us collectors to buy/sell/trade and discuss the Serendipity books by Stephen Cosgrove.

I'm here! I Serendipity books... I have SO many I'm totally surprised to see ones I don't have- but I did buy three new ones at the fair this year! Last night we just read "Zippity Zoom" or something. Cute stuff!

Ha!  I sold a whole bin of my doubles at the Fair.  Did you buy from me? 

I have a near complete collection, just missing Sooty Foot (which sells for $100).  I count 72 books and can type the list out if anyone is interested. 

Robin James has also illustrated 7 small board books about various baby animals (Baby Unicorns, Baby Farm Animals, etc.).  These are ridiculously adorable.  She also illustrated a series of four books called the Lemon Rhyme Reader Series.  She has a brand new book out called Alaska's Dog Heroes that is pretty sweet. 

Stephen Cosgrove has authored a lot of other books in a couple of different series, but it was always Robin James' illustrations that spoke to me.  I am so excited to see people rediscovering these books!

I had a few of these as a kid. I can't remember the name, but one centered on a baby raccoon and the other a bear cub. I wish I could remember the names. I wish I still had my childhood book collection as I had a TON of books.

The baby raccoon is probably Squabbles and the bear cub could be either Buttermilk Bear or Jingle Bear (I think those are the only two with bears).

I didn't know Sooty Foot was actually published.
