Exactly how big are ponies?

If I were you I would probably just buy the ponies before you buy the glasses. You'll probably want measurements of each ponies head to get an idea for glasses

I already have the ponies though.

If you're using metric measurements there is an easy conversion to inches. It's either divided by 24.5 or times 24.5 for mm to inches

It just might be easier for you to measure them yourself since not everyone may have all ponies, or measurements from like 5 people could vary

If you just get a measuring tape or a ruler, you should be able to see for yourself what they measure exactly.

As for the math of converting measurements, you can just find an online converter

This is an excellent time to learn how to do measurements! It's a useful skill. So useful, I always have a measuring tape handy.

Also, go ahead and modify Clever Clover. They ARE common and the world will be okay if there's one less g2 in it. I say this as a big fan of that generation.

I agree lol. If you haven't used a measuring tape/ruler until now you definitely need to learn The best ones have CM and MM on one side, and Inches on the other

Oh this is a great idea for pony glasses - it would allow you to adapt to fit no matter the size.

Hardware stores also sell rolls of wire, in different thicknesses.

Yep craft stores carry different thicknesses of wire, and different colors too. I believe they also make little pliers that makes it easy to bend it
