Dainty's art! More stuff (finally!!)

I'm so glad being at the fair helped get you out of your art slump Commissioning on-site is difficult, with the limited time and the nerves and having to also interact with people, and you were able to do so and keep the quality of your drawings top notch!

It was neat that with all the artists at the fair, all the styles were so different! I think doing art is so hard, because your putting a piece of yourself out there and hoping people like it. It's a vulnerability that I find really difficult to handle, but people in the MLP community are so sweet and supportive!

I hope you continue with the momentum the show gave you to keep drawing! You have a beautiful and distinctive style that I find really soft, lovely and sweet that matches the personalities of the ponies

She's cute! I used to make pony shirts and preferred Skreened over Redbubble. Redbubble gave me dull colors and a smaller image size on the shirts, iirc. It's worth ordering one yourself first to see how it is before launching the sales I think, that's what I did.

And thanks ponycake, I did check out skreened and you're right- the shirts will be a bit more expensive but they do offer a layer of white under the designs so theyll be WAY more vibrant- also, their standard shirts come in light pink which is the best color to put a pony design on, duh

I wonder if I can sell my designs on both sites? I would love to use skreened for shirts and then redbubble for stickers etc.

Probably! I wouldn't stop there though, might as well check into others cause I know what you mean, there is almost no room to profit from shirt to shirt. I looked into a few and it was too much trouble and Skreened seemed the easiest. I was seriously seriously upset when I got two shirts from Redbubble. One was my own, it was cut off even though it didn't show it was cut off in the preview, and the other was a MLP rainbow logo shirt and the colors were not rainbow, they were some ugly desaturated mess you would never call a rainbow.

I didn't do vector art, just high enough quality that theyll be fine for shirts I don't have much patience for pen tools and vector, so I really like my photoshop plugin Lazy Nezumi, it really helps steady my lines while still letting me draw freehand

That's really impressive!! They look really smooth. I feel so behind on all those programs...I need to go beyond Illustrator
