Furret was posing for pictures the other day.  It was weird, since he's normally all over the place.

Immediately after I took a few pictures, he jumped over into my hamper of dirty clothes and started rolling around in one of my bras. I'll have to upload the pictures whenever I get home from work.

I tried it on Meister (I have been reliably infomed this is the correct spelling now) and it totally fits!!!

No photo's yet though, he wriggled loose before I snapped him!

I love looking at everyones pictures! Congrats on your new baby, I recently had to have my little carpet shark put down (I got him in 2009 and the doctors said he was too old to preform surgery for his adrenal failure) so seeing everyone's pictures was heart warming.

Ferrets make such awesome pets, they're so smart and fun, you can't help but love them! Their little faces, their funny hops! gah.

I actually acquired my Bandit in a very similar way you did. He was given to me by someone who couldn't keep him anymore and didn't have time for him. He ended up becoming a loving little part of our family.

Can't wait to see more pictures from everyone

She was soooo hungry the other day after a whole morning of playtine! She ate breakfast then I gave her enough food to last her the evening and wowow.... she ate it ALL and passed out next to her bowls! LOL

We decided Miester was lonely so we added 2 baby ferrets to the household!

Welcome Clyde (the sable/polecat) and Fidget (the albino)

They have just started to come out of nip training and have gotten really cuddly with their new winter fuzz!!  Miester especially has a sleek glossy coat and is really looking all handsome and studly!  Clyde is a week younger than Fidget but is really big, look at the size of those feets!!! Fidget is a smaller sized ferret but his personality is supersized!!!!

^^BABY FERRETS!!!!  Congrats!!!! :3 OMG yaaaay you are feeding them meat! They will grow so strong and fast! Eeeeeeek!

Miku has grown up a little too! She just got her winter coat recently, she started shedding like CRAZY so when I took her to get her last baby Distemper shot I asked the vet about her fur loss. Just seasonal, now she is big and FLUFFY! I have also been taking her to the park every week, where she tries to make friends with squirrels in the trees LOL! I love her, she is my everything!!!!!!

Ooooo once I saw a ferret at Petco that looked just like a panda! I want more ferrets LOL but my reptiles and saltwater tank of hermit crabs need my love too! If only I had a house!!!! (｡>﹏<｡)

I used to have a ferret. His name was Truck. He was so silly but would not let you walk him outside on a leash!

Ferrets are full of surprises! I was scared Miku was too wild and crazy to be leash trained, but ferrets are too smart for their own good! I always get a few weird looks when I go to the park with her but I will get compliments on her too! Out in public she is so well behaived. When I take her to the vet she sits very elegantly on my lap in a donut with her head sticking up like a cat- my vet said she is one of the most tame ferret she has ever seen! She walks like a little princess at the park with me on the sidewalk but then goes sniffing everything in the grass LOL but as soon as she is home she runs, bounces, and jumps off everything she can and always takes my phone case or tries eats chips out of my purse! She snores and sleeps like a lazy woozle. Its like she KNOWS people are watching her when she is outside home and she tries to show off to be pretty and get all the attention! I also walk her in petsmart and people will often ask me about my ferret! I tell her she is secretly hyper at home haha!

My poor Furret has adrenal gland disease, but we took him to the vet and to a surgeon over the summer. The surgeon gave him a few shots and his fur grew back and he's so healthy now! I was starting to feel like maybe I was a bad ferret mommy, but the vet assured me that there is nothing that can be done to prevent or provoke the disease, that it's just common in ferrets and can be deadly if untreated...I was told that, if anything, I'm a great ferret mommy for having noticed something was wrong. I seriously can't tell you how many days I spent crying because I thought it was my fault.

Anyway, he's doing so well now and has adjusted completely to our new house. He has more room to run around and play, which is a huge plus. We also have a really big backyard that he enjoys. He tends to snake through the grass and just lay in the sun.

Aaaannnd...WE'RE GETTING ANOTHER FERRET THIS WEEK! My husband and I have been wanting another one, but we wanted to wait until after our wedding (which was 2 weeks ago), so now we have the time and money to devote to another fur baby. I can't wait!
