So there's a glow in the dark Buzz Lightyear hikari figure that was just revealed, and it seems to be the first gitd hikari figure ever. I was thinking about how cool it would be if the made a gitd Rainbow Dash, but then I realized I don't need that in my life because my bank account already hates me.

Also, after a short discussion on the Funko Funatic boards a while ago, I was told that these molds are expensive to make, this why we're getting a lot of RD and no signs of another pony. I still think Princess Luna or Twilight would be excellent for this line if they did another pony. I'm sure they'd sell! What do you guys think?

As awesome as other pony molds would be, I hope they are done with the MLP hikaris! *my wallet is crying for mercy too*  I would love Luna and Celestia, but jeeze there's already a whole bunch of RD, if they made other ponies I'm not sure if I could collect all of the ones I would want! I could see them doing Twilight or Pinkie in the future.

Yeah, I'd also be okay if they didn't make more ponies...but a part of me would love a Princess Luna hikari figure, or even Celestia! But...my wallet!

My BBTS Rainbow Dash should be here tomorrow! That's perfect because my Christmas vacation from work starts as soon as I leave work today, so I can sit by the door tomorrow morning and wait for my package!

Rainbow Dash Hikari seems to have sold really well-

I wish they had made a second figure, but POP culture changes so fast- and production time is 6-9 months from start to finish, so the question really is- will it still be cool and sell well almost a year from now?

I think probably yeah.  I hope they do Luna or Nightmare Moon or Chrysalis, or Twilight...  I think Luna is the most popular character for non-children.

If they did Pinkie, I don't think it would sell quite so well...

I'd say, judging by how well the vinyl figures have been selling, that making at least one more mold for the hikari line wouldn't be a bad thing! Especially if it's Luna, Celestia or Twilight. I mean, look at the demand for regular Luna and Celesita since, for some reason, those haven't been in stores since last year. People are paying $100+ for those on eBay, I'm sure people would drop $80 on a hikari figure of either of them.

Got my Color Storm RD today! I waited all day for her, so of course they delivered her to me at 8pm!

I dunno. Pinkie is pretty popular amongst bronies, mostly because they headcanon her as being deranged.

I would actually drop $80 on a Hikari Luna! xD I could always go for more glittery Luna's! Is the regular Luna Funko really that expensive now....

Aaaaa congrats on all the Hikari's Moonbeamstar! Always a blessing to see your lovely RD collections! Wow, all of them so far!

So we are now waiting on the solid metallic gold one now, right? I wonder if they will release the white/clear one with the gold hair as well or if it was replaced by the Noir variant. I wonder if they will have one of those as a convention exclusive? Maybe for SDCC? Toy Fair is in a few months (already again!) so maybe they will release the final one(s) before then!

I'd more expect DJ or muffin pony to be next than a princess or a villain. Excepting Twily they are all bigger and would either need a much larger mold unless they don't care about scale.

I could honestly see them doing Muffin Pony....in the SAME Rainbow Dash mold! xD All they need is a wonky eye, Muffin Cutie Mark, and some blonde hair.

To be fair, if you've seen other hikari figures, they're all essentially in the same pose no matter what character they are. Just a regular standing position. Rainbow Dash may just have the most dynamic pose of any hikari figure I've seen. So I wouldn't be surprised if they did another pony and gave it the same pose as RD, with slight changes for detail.
