Any Firefox users here?

Just wondering, Firefox keeps prompting for me to do an update to 38.whatever and I am hesitating because I am having issue as it is with the one now, such as pay pal and ebay labels not printing and some sites it not working on (college site and FASA) - has anyone done the update and does it work better?

I know we just updated all of our browsers here at work because the students were complaining about pages loading slowly.  I've noticed that most of them use Firefox and IE, the latter of which makes me cringe, but since the updates no one has had any issues.  I personally use Chrome here at work, but like I said, the students tend to learn towards the other two and so far so good!  I think you should be fine to update.  From the sounds of it, it might work out better for you.

I use Firefox! Used to be Chrome but since it became the most popular browser its as likely to develop issues as IE lol

I had an auto update just last week; didnt notice any features so its probably a background thing. No problems for me. You can always revert back to a previous issue if you have problems.

Thanks Cat, it said it would not work with my Norton tool bar so for now I said no.  I will keep checking though and see if they get that fixed.

I used to use Firefox, but with all the updates lately it's been working too slow on my laptop. I've pretty much decided to ditch Firefox and use Chrome instead, which so far is working a lot better for me.

Fireflox is running really slow for me, I've tried re-setting and turning off reporting but it's bad after about 10 minutes or so and I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I used to be firefox, but switched to chrome when i started having issues, no issues with chrome yet tho, after about 2 years. xD Hope you get the help you need

Firefox is sadly such a RAM hog, especially if you have add-ons.

Like most browsers its probably got a lot of things floating in the background. When mine runs slow, I uninstall and use CCleaner to get rid of anything hanging around. Then reinstall. Its a footer to do but, for me, its the best browser so I find it worthwhile.

No browser is perfect, but I loathe Firefox. It spit out all kinds of crazy pop-ups even though I have a pop-up blocker. The only way to stop it was to uninstall Firefox. I even tried a second time a few months later as a test, and the same thing happened again. Now I use Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. Neither of those are that great, but at least I don't have non-stop pop-ups filling up the screen.

Thank you, I will look into c cleaner. I haven't reinstalled for a while so I'll try that
