Thanks y'all!!

Oh hey, my pixel ponies. :D

Oh really? I found them off of google. Theyre really cute!

Yep! Made a lot of pixels when I was new here. Speaking of, I think why my collecting is alive and well instead of going dormant for a few years and then back is because I'm a part of this community. I wasn't a part of it for years though, collected for many years without knowing any other collectors. I knew of the forums and had an account but it wasn't really my thing. Made the account and didn't do anything past that with it until 2013 when I made a new one and began using and sharing my art. I love making pixel ponies, I should make some more soon.

I've always liked animals. And when I was a kid I didn't get much in the way of toys, so this way it kind of balances out.

And they make me happy, which is always a good thing :frolic:

Cannot have anything scented in the house, unfortunately. Seeking the unscented, magnetless variant of Thistle Whistle. (And wishing the other Sunny Scent ponies got similar ones, because they're lovely. *sigh*)

This is going to sound horrible, but ... getting something in the mail is often the only thing that makes me happy. It's really hard to admit that. I think I chose ponies for nostalgic reasons; my sister and I had a collection of about 50 as kids. Then I found the MLP community, and everyone has been so friendly that I've just stuck around, even though I don't buy many ponies these days.

As a kid they were some of my favorite toys, and I started looking at them again because of how nostalgic they made me feel. I started restoring some of my old ponies that I had been too rough with, which eventually lead me to start customizing and collecting all the old ponies I wanted as a kid but never got (and then some :) ). I guess I collect them because I think they're adorable, and I like the art aspect of customizing and restoring them
