Differences in German Baby Lemondrop's symbol.

Hello I couldn't find any information on this. I just bought a second german baby lemon drop
that I was going to sell or trade, but I am reconsidering because of the symbol difference. Is there another version I don't know about? They are both from Hong Kong. :3 Thanks for help <3<3

Oh wow! They look so cute! I like the one with the big drops. But no clue if it's a variant or not. Either way, congrats for both of them!

I don't think I've noticed this until now! I have no idea as to why they are different.

I just checked the nirvana gallery and the loose Baby LD has small symbols and the MOC Baby LD has large symbols!

Does anyone know about the German baby releases?

It might relate to the differences we see with the Rainbow Ponies and their symbols?

My Baby Zitroenchen has the small symbols, and she came from Locket, who found her in Austria. My Nachtlicht and Regentropfen also came from Austria and also have smaller symbols.

I don't know if it's been totally proven that the large symbol comes from Germany and the small one other places (Austria being key in my mind) but this might be a further suggestion of it?

Unless, of course, both the OP's Baby Zitroenchen's came from the same country. In which case, no clue.

The German advert booklet for this set is no help as the Zitroenchen it shows is the UK version >.>

There are variations on symbol for the UK BLD as well, but those are colour rather than size...

  thanks for sharing! I did never noticed it!! this is sooo cool!! to my mind (but i am not an expert  ) maybe it is the same variation as Regentröpfchen und Nachtlicht who both have large or small symbols versions  This is really so exciting to still discover !!!!

Thanks for all the answers It's proably something similar to NightLight and Raindrop, I didnt think about that ^^ why could be the solution Taffeta wrote, one of them being released in Austria the other Germany or it may remain a mystery. There seems to definitely be two versions though, the difference is quite distinct.

Interesting! I have noticed that some appeared different than others before, but never really looked at it to work out why! (probably because I never had two next to each other - the ones I had came through my hands some time apart) Am I right in thinking the one with the smaller symbols has thinner hair as well?

My knowledge of the German issue doesn't extend to them in particular unfortunately. Have we spotted any symbol or hair differences in any other of her set?

I'm going to go through all my German information and see if I can spot anything else.

I've updated the nirvana gallery too I had a look at the other babies, but I couldn't see any differences

As with the rainbows it might not just be symbol size that is different. For example Skydancers symbol is reversed and Starshines variation is matte paint vs. metallic paint.
