Missing Link Swap

Create a custom from one of your partner's favorite Hasbro sets that's an addition to the set (also using their favorite colors, etc). The idea is to create a NEW pony for that set (big brother, tropical, rainbow, mane 6, etc.) and not just making an older/younger/different pose of an existing pony.

Any Gen and any set can have missing links. Please specify the Gen with the pony set in your list below, so your partner knows where to look for inspiration.

Any Gen can be used for the custom. However, if your partner wants an addition to a G1 set and wants it to STAY G1, please use a G1 bait. Please make sure to note if you have a Gen preference when you fill out the questionnaire.

Sculpting is NOT required for this swap. However, certain sets of ponies may need added wings, horn, longer fins, reshaped face/feet, 3D symbol, etc. This is a Hasbro-inspired swap, so the ponies should look like they belong to a certain set.

You are only required to make 1 pony for this swap. However, if you are interested in making and/or receiving something like newborn twins (2 ponies), please note it, and I will take that into consideration when assigning partners.

Examples:
Rock n Beats - create a pegasus b/c they never had a RnB pegasus
G4 Mane 6 - the missing element of Luck (making it a Mane 7)
Sweetberry ponies - blackberry themed
Any G1 set - big brother version
Big brothers - pilot, police, tennis, etc

Swap Rules

1. You must have at least 5 positive Arena feedbacks, and no negative feedback, and have been an arena member for at least 4 months.
2. All swappers must have made and posted customs within the last 4 months.
3. You must have pictures of at least 3 of your most recent customs to show the quality of your work. This is a skill based swap, to a degree. If you have done a Hasbro-replica or Hasbro-inspired before, please include a picture.
4. There will be check in points along the way and you MUST check in. If I cannot get ahold of you for check-ins you will be omitted from the swap, will not receive a pony, and appropriate feedback shall be left.
5. Include the    icon after your arena name in the sign up form to let me know you've read the rules.
6. Life happens to everyone. If, after you join, you find you are unable to complete your pony, for any reason, please PM me immediately! I would much rather know sooner than later so I can work on getting a replacement partner.
7. Follow the Shipping Guidelines below.

DEADLINES:
Sign ups: Now through May 31* (or until there are 20 participants)*
Partners June 2nd (possibly earlier if this fills up fast)
1st photo check in July 3rd
Final Photo check in July 24th
Ship by Aug 1st - Finished ponies need to be approved before mailed! So you won't get the full address for your partner until the final check in.
If someone drops out last minute or went MIA for mailing- their partner WILL still receive something, even if I have to personally make them something myself.

Shipping:
Customs must be well packed for shipping.
Do not use newspapers, paper towels or colored tissue paper in direct contact with the completed custom. (It can stick or cause discoloration.)
Do not ship customs that are sticky/tacky or not fully dry.
Do use some sort of padding like bubble wrap, white tissue paper, peanuts, etc.
*KEEP your receipt/tracking numbers when you mail your custom off, this may be the only proof you have in the event it is lost. This rarely happens, but it has happened.*

Interesting idea!  I would have to rely on others ideas, I would not have thought of ideas that Rooga came up with thus far.

I'd say you can put specific requests (like a pegasus RnB) or just list the set you like (rainbow, sweetberry, tropical, te, taf, etc). There will also be a spot in the questions for you to list fav and least fav colors, so your partner has that to help them; you can include fav color combos too (like I like yellow/purple combos on ponies).

And if you just list a set, maybe mention *why* you like the set, so your partner has something to go on when creating an addition for you. And/or list some things that you like in general. for example - maybe you like TAF ponies and you also like food/sweets on ponies. Or maybe you want to be more specific and say that you like shoes or sparklers (fireworks) or the old-school 2-stick popsicles.

What a brilliant idea! I think I must steel it and make couple of such customs for me  I'd love to take part on the swap too but I probably won't meet the requirements.

This sounds super fun! I often have ideas for additions to sets and this would be a good excuse to make one!

I'm a perpetual "doin' too much" kind of person in Swaps and I think committing to an entire set (even if I've already had them planned out for months ) is a bit much. One or two... maybe three at most would be all I think I could reasonably be able to do with any hope of consistency or quality. Even for a Hasbro match. 

Male seaponies. Tsunami and Tidal. They're basically the same size as the other adult seaponies but with heavier facial features and longer fins. Adult pegasi males Tradewinds and Jet Stream. Re Unicorno as a heavyset unicorn version of Chief. Boys in general as far as I'm concerned.
