...And the day I start posting again (and put "Nightwisher" under my name, HUGE fan here!), there's a thread like this. Typical. And nice.

Nightwish is my ultimate favourite, the early days were amazing. I really hated Anette, I'm SO glad they got rid of her. And now with Floor, they are stronger than ever, and I'm a bigger fan than ever. We're going to see them in November!  While I really have something against the term "female fronted" (would you ("you" in general) call a band with male singer "male fronted"? I doubt it), these are my favourites:

I'm pretty much the same as the OP plus Within Temptation. In This Moment and Butcher Babies atm, are sorta my favourites, I DO like Paramore's earlier punk-y stuff, it's fun to go back and listen to, as well as Flyleaf. I have been a very retro girl lately, it seems to happen every time a Blink song pops onto the radio, and then I end up on youtube going back to the nineties, haha!

I also really love the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and No Doubt.  Those two always come to mind with female leads that I enjoy listening to.  Oh, and Pyyramids.  They only have one album but it's so perfect, especially this song...
