I want her someday. Shes very elusive. I just keep finding other ponies to put on my major want list. :/ I wanna finish it before I go off wandering to the UK exclusives. She is the last pony I need from that set too.

Gypsy was one of my grails for years. :)
I was so thrilled to finally find a minty girl a couple of Springs ago. Those freckles are adorable, & her hair looks beautiful plaited. ^-^

I love Gypsy. I usually don't go for non-US ponies (I still have so many here that I'm not ready to branch out yet) but she stands out enough that I -need- her. Her colors, her name... just everything. She's awesome. I love the Lady Gaga song; that's probably why. :lol:

Although I find it really weird that they decided to name her a racial slur of all things...?

I think Gypsy is only a racial slur if its used as such. Romany gypsies have their own cultural heritage and traditions in Europe including music, costume, art and belief system. In the 80s people still useful to buy pegs, herbal remedies etc from Gypsies in rural areas. The Irish Tinkers and the Showmen are also distinct cultural groups of travelling people as well, many people still identify within those groups although they are now settled (living in a house not a caravan). Gypsies and Tinkers are famous for breeding and trading horses.

Back to the pony though, I love her, she's one of my favorites and one of the first few that I got.  I have one excellent Gypsy that I bought myself and one that my sister gave me with her initials underneath and a tad of symbol rust.
