Ear Repose?

Has anyone reposed the ears on a pony? Is that even possible? 
If you've done it can I see pictures?! I'd love to see some.

I would think so! I haven't actually reposed ears, but I did remove and sculpt new ones for my incomplete Last Unicorn custom. I'll try to explain the process to the best of my ability.

First, I took an X-Acto knife, and carefully sliced the ears off her head. I then cut a length of 20 gauge wire, and used pliers to form it into the desired shape. The frames were covered with Primo sculpey, leaving about a 1/4 inch of wire exposed on the bottoms. After I was done sculpting, I put a large piece of clay inside each hole - where her original ears were - and stuck the ends of the wire into the clay. I continued to build layers of clay around the ears until I was satisfied with the look.

I cut her ears off, turned them, and reattached with apoxie sculpt
I think I may have switched right and left too

This one had chewed ears so lopped them off and sculpted new ones slightly back facing

I did, it was relatively easy but I do wish I had taken more time to smooth out the sculpy that I used to reattach them.

Yup, it's possible! People have given great examples Basically just cut the ears off and either put them to a new position with Apoxie/Sculpey/brand you've chosen, or sculpt all new ears. Sand the added material's surface smooth, paint and you're done with it!

Those are great! I now need to see a Princess RnS with laid back ears. That would make her anatomically accurate. One ear flicking forward and one back, or ears to the side would be so cute
