My husband and I's jobs are seriously next-door and its about a 10 minute drive. Husbands school is seriously about 40 minutes away!

I can get to work in 10 mins by powerwalking (I like to sleep in!) but I prefer to walk a little slower and get there in 15

It's a 15-20min drive to work depending on traffic.

I used to go by bike, which would only take me 20-25 minutes. But lately I combine the bus with a walk, and it's so much better! :D First I walk to the station (15 minutes), then I take the bus (10 minutes), and then I walk to my workplace (20 minutes).

All in all it takes me an hour (if you include waiting for the bus), but this is so much more relaxing. I don't arrive at my work all exhausted, I get more exercise because when I go home again I walk 45 minutes in one go (I have more time then of course), there's much more to see, like birds and trees, and this way I have some relaxing time before work. I only see good sides to it, but my collegues can't seem to give me a break.  :hmm: They always have to bug me about why I would do such a thing while there is a bus stop right in front of the building, and how "I do this to myself".
