POTD 4/18/2015 Fancy Mermaid Ponies

I did have one at one time but sold her off. I think they are all cute just not for me.

Pass. To me they're so different from other G1s that they don't seem like they belong with MLP.

I have Baby Sea Princess; she was a pony I got as a child (one of the few I bought new at a store). She's pretty cute, I think. I'm not in the market for the others, but I wouldn't mind getting one inexpensively.

Have them, because I collect everything MLP, but I don't care for them.  Sea ponies look much more like natural water ponies to me.

I had the blue one as a little girl. I think she's still at my parents' place; I'll have to search and dig her out, and hopefully she's in good condition. I would most definitely like to get the other two mermaid ponies so I can have a complete set of them, as I think they're really cute. <3

I'd pass on them, I usually just like to collect adult ponies.

They're definitely unique as oppose to the sea ponies. I like them but its rather hard to find them nowadays at a decent price.

I like them more than Sea Ponies myself. Mainly, I think, because they have "arms." I realize the Sea Ponies were designed based on seahorses, which is clever, but I like them to have one set of ... arms ... legs? The Sea Ponies always look so awkward to me....

Question on these mermaid Ponies: are they prone to rusting inside as much as Sea Ponies are? I hardly ever hear about them and don't know much of anything about their inner structure as compared to Sea Ponies.

I haven't taken mine apart, so I'm not a great expert on the structure of mermaid ponies, but they don't seem at all rusty. They don't have weights in them (I put them in some water when I got them to see if they floated upright like sea ponies; they just floated sideways like regular ponies) so I suppose there's nothing to go rusty.

I love them, but I have never even seen them in real life. I hope someday I will own them, or at least some of them
