There are only a few things more satisfying than seeing a sad, dirty pony being turned into a near-mint looking one, am I right? :D I love seeing before/after transformations, especially when they're extreme. Do you have any before vs. after photos?

I personally love cleaning and restoring ponies, but unfortunately I haven't come across any super dirty ponies that need some serious spa time yet :)

No huge transformations, but a lot of cleaning and some new tails (before photos hardly capture how grubby they were, particularly sprinkles, who was more grey than pink):

I got a cute baby greek yellow medley that needed some restoration in the eyes ,
since i am a painter and a tattoo artist it was no biggie for me here are the before pics

This is my most recent fixer-upper  ;)  The curls came out a little on the loose side but I'm so happy with her.

Very nice pics, everyone! I love seeing pics like this. I really should take before and after pics- I just get so anxious to clean them up and usually clean them as soon as I get them. Last time I went to a toy con, I stayed up till 3AM cleaning ponies and Fairy Tails Birds :)

Dori86, you do awesome eyes- I am really terrible at eyes.

Aw, thank you! :)  To be honest I was really lucky that her hair was just really tangled and sticky and dirty vs frizzbomb. After a good, deep clean and condition, the condition of her hair was quite lovely and just needed the curls put back in place (rather than straightening like I might have done if her hair had been really bad).
I wanted quite big, round curls; close to how they came originally so I taped a bunch of three straws together and curled each hair partition around those instead of just around a single straw. I should have done them a bit tighter near the top of her neckline, and probably should have had her lying down while they were setting. I think that is why they are a bit loose near the tops of the curls. That and I was possibly too excited to see the results and let out the curls too early, lol!  :lol:


I'll post this wee girl, too - I was super happy with this result recently!  ;)
