Discolored/Factory error Pastel sunlight found!

Your customs are gorgeous PWK!
She has a normal metal tail washer.. Nothing out of the ordinary there.. Roots look like the mane so I am going to have to go with faded and discolored..

I don't own a regular Sunlight so I only have pictures of rehairs to share.

I must admit she does look prettier in pastel colours or the second set rainbow colours.

If you like her there is no reason why she should stay in your collection. I'm sure SA Sunlight would like a friend

Have you had fun cleaning the others up? Pony Spa is fun especially if the ponies turn out shiny for a groom.

A lot of G1s have a silverish metallic base to their symbols - this girl looks simply as though she has had a lot of her gold glitter rubbed off with time and wear. Flake some glitter off the symbol of a baity rainbow and you will probably find the same thing on certain ponies.

As for the body length, I could line up a selection of shy pose ponies with body length variation like that. Different moulds (re cast over time), different years, different batches and even different factories in manfacture mean such minor differences are pretty standard.

She is lovely with her pastel hair but I do agree she just looks like a baity Sunlight.

Aww, even though she's faded, I still think she's lovely Ember She looks so pretty all pastel like that!  What if you gave her one of those gorgeous hair clips you have (seriously, where do you get all those pretty accessories?)

She does look really pretty! One of my Rainbow Ponies has metallic looking symbols too- I think the color might have worn off?

Your pony looks very lovely though with the uniform fading everywhere- Sunlight looks fabulous as a Pastel!

I've come across other early glitter ponies with most or all of the color glitter gone, going to have to go with this is just a badly damaged Sunlight.  Green hair can bleach out to blue, and judging by the other hair colors poor gal has seen a ton of sun exposure.  That might also account for the shrinkage, if it's not just factory variance.  She's cute though!

I'm glad you all enjoyed seeing my rehairs they symbols were all pretty good on them but you can see some are brighter than others.

I agree with you princessluna, Ember1 does have some cute accessories.
