Pony poses? Best, worst?

There's probably been made posts about this before.. but I'm new here still so. 

Is there some places where I can see a list of poses and what they're called? How many poses are there?

Also what's your favourite poses and what's the worst?

Me for example.. I really love Sweet Tooth, but her pose are one of the worst I think. 
I don't like Locket's pose either.
Cherries Jubilee are not my favourite either. Tootsie, love this pony, not the pose.

Don't like the 'original ponies' pose much. And all the poses for the 'unicorn and pegasus ponies' seems a bit of as well... Others who think like me? 

I like Milky way and Mimic's pose. And Posey's pose. And Gusty and Strawberry Surprise have good poses. 
I like most of the poses, except the ones I mentioned over.. What about you?

i absolutely LOVE the bbe unicorn pose!! and the collectors pose, theyre both my favorites.
i really dislike the g3 "donkey" pose. it looks so awkward!

The Quakers pose is ridiculous LOL the legs look so unnatural! And I despise the ones that are really hard to get to stand, makes my daughter crazy too, like Whizzer or Buttons

My favorites are Bubbles, Crumpet, and Glory poses.

I can't help it, I love the Dancing Butterflies pose so much! Every pony in this pose is a set favorite!

I love the sitting and rearing poses for G1, not great to play with when you're a kid, but they have a lot of life to them in my opinion (also nice and easy to collect ponies in that pose since there's only three rearing and two sitting for the US release).  There aren't really any poses in G1 I actively dislike but I find the collectors pose rather dull, seems so much more bland than later sculpts.

In G3 I love waterfire's color but I loathe that pose.  It looks like a 'fakie' to me (it's the eyes).

My favorite G1 poses are the Milky Way pose, the collector's pose, the walking pose, the Gusty pose, and the shy pose.  There aren't really any poses that I actively dislike, but I guess I'm not a huge fan of Heart Throb's pose.  I adore the pony, but that pose just isn't as cute or pretty as it could be for some reason.  I think it's something about the legs for me...

My favorite G3 pose is the donkey pose (that may just be because Tink-a-Tink-a-Too is my favorite so I guess I'm biased lol).  I also like the pose the Sand Dollar is on since it is so dynamic, and I really like the pegasus pose.  I don't really like the pose they started using during the core 7 phase and slightly before.  Compared to some others it's a little plain.  The main reason I probably don't like it is because it was so overused, though.  Even if it wasn't used too much, though, I don't think it would ever be a favorite of mine.

really hate the core pose from G3. Starsong being on of my favorite ponies her mcds pose is so cute and awesome then all her standard releases are the stupid core pose like what are they doing in that pose and her wings are just tacked on. ><

Agreed! I literally just realised that they are ALL in that horrid pose! 

As for G1, the only pose I don't like is the Gingerbread/ Sweetstuff pose. I love both of those ponies but the pose just kills it for me. 

On a positive note, I adore proud pose, shy pose and collector poses...among others!

I actually like all of the mainstream G1 poses.  They give the ponies a sense of life.  I think some ponies are in poses that might not fit them.  I picture Surprise in a more active pose and Wind Whistler in a more demure pose as a couple examples.

G4 poses are unimpressive, lifeless, and limited.

For G1, I like the Mimic pose the best.  It looks so triumphant.

I don't like G1 Quackers Pose because the pony I own with it, Sweet Tooth, won't stand up on her own.  I have her propped up against Dancing Butterflies.
