My first couple of ponies arrived today, so pleased I could just burst out in song.

I never had a TE or SS, now I have a lovely Speedy and charming little Cupcake!  So darling and I just love them! 

Don't you just love that feeling?

i just loved that feeling of when i first started collecting and getting those ponies i so badly wanted when i was a kid. and waiting 20-30years to own

My first pony mail as a collector was TAF Milky Way.  I forgot to switch the address on Pay Pal to my address, so it went to my dad's address since that was what was listed.  I had to wait about a week and a half to get her from him and I was sooooo impatient    It was worth the wait, though.

Ha ha, I can understand that.  I sat about quite a bit holding them and admiring.  My fella just sighed and shook his head, then called me a nerd.  Which is probably true!

I just love them.  Cupcake is so soft (har dee har har) and Speedy is just, guh.  I love her colors.  Coral is my favorite color, so I'm smitten.

I had ponies since I was a kid so my first pony technically was Windy the Rainbow Pony, but when I decided to properly collect (I was 12, LOL) the first ponies I got from carboot sale were Parasol and Lickety Split. I never had either of them as a child, so it was really awesome to have them since I love the older ponies the most.

The other big memory I have was when I was 16 and the first US collector/online collector I ever met came over to the UK to see her grandkids and came to see my family, too. We traded lots that day, and up till then some of them I had only seen in drawings, so getting them was really exciting.

That feeling is brilliant, but be aware, they do multiply and the feeling never does really go away...
