many have heard of flat Stanley. A paper kid sent to another area and the receiver gives flat Stanley a tour of their area...well let's do that with a blind bag!

You may choose any blind bag. Just remember you are trusting an arena member and the postal services with your blind bag.

Requirements. I would like you to have one review or been an arena member for three months.

Here is the process. You will send your blind bag to an arena member. Another arena member will be sending a blind bag to you as well. Once you receive your blind bag you have one to two weeks to take them on an adventure. You will then send the blind bag back to the owner. But you must post the adventure here on the arena. Sounds very easy and very fun.

1. Please send me a PM with your name address and the name of your blind bag. Also if you have any allergies and willing to ship internationally.
2. Sign ups will go for a week. I am only taking on 5 so be quick. I may do more if there is a lot of desire.
3. Once you have received the information of the member you will be sending your blind bag to you post on the forum the picture that you are sending it. It could be the envelop or a group shot of it saying goodbye to its pony friends. I just want a posted picture of the blind bag you are sending...but do not reveal where they are going.
4. Once you receive a blind bag just post that you have received it.
5. You may post all at one or on different days the adventures of the blind bag you have received. Pictures are a must.
6. Then you ship the blind back to its owner. Please post that you have shipped. You may add goodies, extras, but keep them small. This is supposed to be low cost even with shipping.

Interesting idea. I wonder if this has been done with a flat flat pony, like a pony picture or card? Members could sign the card and send it along to the next member for a fraction of sending an envelope or box... postage in the US would be 49 cents, and to send international a mere $1.15... and stickers and other flat things could still be sent as extras...

Hm! Anyhow, I still might be interested in this project. What is the time frame? I will be traveling quite a bit the next couple months...

It's about a month in time. I am all about communication. So if I kept up to date I am willing to work with someone. I thought of a card but I wanted to send something one could set up scenes with.

I would be in if it was a flat paper pony doll type... We could each make our own... Also if ponycame with a small diary to record adventures and small sketches.

Flat pony for sure... but a blind bag, no.  That's just asking for disaster in the postal system.

I agreee.   wihe fact   postage goes missing all te time    nad other  bag things that cna happen. if hte paper pony goes misisng theres no  trouble.

I like the idea of a blind bag instead of a flat pony. If it does get lost, it's only $3-$5. It would be important to not send it like a letter however; the pony would not go threw the machine correctly without a special envelope/box.

Oh, this sounds like sooo much fun! I agree, a blind bag would be perfect: it's small and low-cost, yet three dimensional so you could set it up properly as well as sturdy and water-resistant (in other words, great for outdoor pictures)!

Why would it be "asking for disaster in the postal system" if it were two blind bag ponies passing back and forth between two Arena members?

With any postal service there is a risk of loss. But I am going to use a common pony like rainbow dash or pinkie. That way if lost I can find 10 more around the corner.

I want to join, but I don't think I would have enough spare time for it. :'( I've always wanted to join one of these types of things.

As long as communication is open I am willing to work with anyone on this project. I am keeping it small for that reason. If you need more time you just have to let me know the details.
