To bait or not to bait
« on: March 13, 2015, 02:55:49 PM »
Hi there everypony.  I recently purchased a double of a 25th anniversary G3 Star Song at a rummage sale for only $0.50.  She is in a bit of rough shape and was wondering,  to bait or not to bait.
Note* she had been washed already.  The messy hair is from dryness or age I guess...
If you are a customizer, or have any opinion on this please comment. The photos are below, sorry some are a bit blurry. (If they drive you mad please let me know and I'll try to get better ones.  Also they are a bit small, that's just how photobucket did it.  If it helps you can visit my photobucket and see them there too, under mobile downloads.

Her compared to my other one:

Her 'flaws':

Her slightly chewed ear:

Rubbed plastic on her wings.(sorry for the blurryness) visitors can't see pics , please register or login

It's hard to tell but her name is rather rubbedon her front left hoof.

Also very hard to tell but the symbol on her NDS has tiny amount of rubbing, not really worth even mentioning though.

I, personally, think she looks pretty good aside from the messy hair, so I wouldn't bait her. But then, I adore this version of Starsong and would happily build an army of them. XD

You're welcome. ^_^

Maybe rather than a full-out custom, you could use her for an alternate-colors rehair?

I agree with GryffindorHermione She would be good for a rehair.

A rehair would be a fun experiment... *pokes* Iwannacomeovertoyourhouseandtryit. :P I also think you forgot to mention that her hair is pretty chopped in places; all the more reason to take it out. :)

Edit: OOH, OOH! Idea! You could try rehairing her with different shades of light blue and silver, to match her eyes and bluer "Dreams" on her side...just a thought. ;)

That depends. What will you do with her if you don't bait her? If you are going to try to sell her, you might have a hard time with that chewed ear. The idea of an alternate rehair sounds good though.

I think rehairing her would be a good idea. She'd look cute as a Perfume Puff.  ^.^

I wouldn't try to sell her.  I'd either give her to a non picky pony collector friend or well bait her...

I might try the re hair thing though....

wow wow wow! she's so pretty! I personally wouldn't bait her because the ear chewing isn't bad but I agree with the alt rehair suggestions. plus she is your pony so if you bait  her go for it!  ;)

Thanks for all your opinions so far.  This is just a bump  :bump: to see if there are any more ideas out there and hopefully someone will find this soon.
