What are some reliable resources you use to identify and price check your ponies?  Do you prefer to use the internet or do you have a book that you prefer to research from? 

I use Dream Valley (the website) to identify my G1s, but I don't really have any other resources for the other generations, or determining their value.

As far as identifying ponies/accessories and to get info about other things like media appearances and variants, mylittlewiki is my friend.

Bluerose has a great price guide to start, but searching the Sold Listings on Ebay helps too!

I always recommend mlpland.com for identifying - its got the easiest ID option on any pony site out there in my opinion.

As for price checks...I use the Arena. Mainly because things change price regularly so while a price guide from a year or more ago is a helpful starting point, prices can have gone up or down quite a bit sometimes.
