Got an attempted delivery slip though the door this morning, for a special delivery parcel. Can only think it came from here so..... gonna pick it up tomorrow!

Mine left the box on the doorstep  So that'll be the seventh complaint in the last few months I've submitted to Royal Mail about having mail left outside. When I had a parcel arrive last week they took it back to the depot like they're supposed to!

My packages get left outside as well, on the porch. They only take it back to the PO if it requires a signature and no one is there to sign for it. Since I live in a small town in Northeastern NY, I guess it's ok.

My post man usually puts an parcels I get in the wheely bin which is fine by me they keep safe and dry. Though sometimes if it is empty not fun getting it out right at the bottom I nearly fall in everytime. Though I guess it is more funny for spectators

Our doorstep is visible from the street, and really isn't sheltered from the rain. And as for the area...weeeell, a store in the next street was the target or an armed robbery last year, so it's really not a safe area to be leaving large boxes on the doorstep. I've had unregistered parcels taken back to the depot, and all their responses to me have never indicated that this is a normal or acceptable procedure  We've had a bunch of new posties that I only tend to see once or twice, so my guess is they're using temps or something now that don't really care.

We've made numerous complaints about our post to Royal Mail. Dumping them on the porch, not bothering to knock and just leaving the 'attempted delivery' note and even flat out stealing (caught in the act). They're useless.

Gah, they do that here in the winter time. They just drive on by without even attempting to deliver the mail.

I hate when the mail people drop a package off at my door step- especially when its raining and I am supposed to SIGN for the package! They did that with my Plumsweet, LE Disney Store doll, and NMM WLF figurine! Stoopid mailfolk.


Gah. I keep trying to check the mail today to see if i got anything, but they closed the office where my apt mailbox is because of rain and flooding....again! Lazies! I still went to work and drove in that, why cant they!?

A friend of mine had a VIOLIN delivered to her APARTMENT once while we were out of town for the weekend. She had even let the post office know that she would be out of town and she was expecting a very valuable package. But what did they do? They left it on the doorstep in the pouring rain! Thankfully, through some kind of magic, the violin was apparently not damaged.

But speaking of mail issues... I never got that last package of goodies for my partner. So I have started the complaint process with paypal and I'm going to just go ahead and send my package either tomorrow or on Friday.

I'm still waiting on one last thing for my partner and then I will be shipping! I got a delivery slip today, so I'm hoping that's the final thing and I can pick it up tomorrow
