Huge congrats to MoonbeamStar (8 right--not too shabby ), Coonhoundbetty, and LochnessMomster! Also, congrats to everyone who participated! This game was loads of fun and I hope we get to do more in the future.

First place?? Haha, wow!!! I don't know whether to be ecstatic or embarrassed. Either I'm a good super sleuth with a keen eye for detail and powers of deductive reasoning, or I'm a creepy stalker and/or super lazy mom who spent far too much time on this game.

Honestly? I would have gotten several wrong if not for this clue: Mods 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 12 were BORN in America. If it were purely based on the other clues and matching faces, I wouldn't even have gotten third place.

Also, "look at the flowers" and SourdoughStomper's comment about not looking very much the same anymore helped me feel fairly confident that she was the cute li'l baby sitting amongst the yellow flowers. She's the only actual baby in the collection of photos, and I figured that there would be at least some resemblance between an older child and their current self.

Oh, and this one:

The main thing I did here was omit all the mods who I knew for sure didn't have kids (or at least not that many), and then just kept sleuthing until I found a more current photo. I second-guessed myself here a bit, though, because I didn't expect ashes to be in black & white (pun unintended). 

There are other things I picked up along the way that helped me, but ultimately I just had to make a few educated guesses and hope they worked out. 

Congratulations also to Coonhoundbetty, MoonbeamStar, and PrincessStarlily for your impressive detective work. We were all so close!! 


Thanks again, Loa, for putting together such a fun game! I have been quiet on the arena this past year, only commenting on things once in a blue moon, but this really helped pull me back in to the action. It feels good to be back.
