Funko's attention to character design is pretty good! I love the colour graduation on Cadance's wings - I wonder if the wings on the glitter variant will also go from pink to purple, as that would be unique so far for the vinyls

Huh- pre-order already?  Well I am definitely never doing pre-order with Hot Topic again- after the way they messed up the last time.

I also don't think these will be anywhere near as popular as Luna and Celestia-

I guess Gemini is learning its lesson (that people want prototypes) - that is quite a price bump!

I wish these were coming out a few days earlier! I'm definitely going to Build-a-Bear on the 20th to pick up a Cadance, it would have been nice to be able to stop by the Hot Topic in the same mall and pick up these two as well!

Aw man, I really want to pre-order but I'm moving next month and if they run late again that'd be bad. Also, with no discount I might as well wait. SA looks so dopey from the front  He's def. gonna have to be displayed side or 3/4 facing on my shelf. No Spike, huh? Cadandce looks so beautiful though!

I may just have to get a Cadance.  Was thinking about Shining Armor, but...1) I hate how he has that shirt on.  I didn't mind Octavia's bowtie or Big Macintosh's harness much.  If they would bother me, it would be an easy fix to chop those off (lucky they're not overly big accessories, so I'm content with them staying on),  I'm not going to be able to get Shining Armor's shirt off no matter what.  and 2) He looks SO ridiculous in that photo they have of him standing straight forward.  He looks absolutely doped out.  So, SA is a definite "heck-to-the-no" for me.  Funko done goofed with him.  Wish they'd redo him so he wouldn't look so dopey and wouldn't have that shirt on, but what can ya do?  Candance, however?  I'm all for.  She'll go great with my other Princesses.

YES and it has some sort of print,of stars and hearts, like Cadence and SA cutie marks perhaps :)looks very nice, they should have done this a long time ago for the previous ponies

It's the same pattern they have on the outside of the box, only in different color.

Nope!  Hot Cash won't be available until next month, I believe.  Right now they're doing a 20% off everything deal on the site, but for some reason it doesn't apply to these two figures in particular.

 I saw them at NYTF and they are beautiful (My photograph is the bottom one in the first post lol... I had no idea my picture got around the web so much I guess it was the first shot of Cadance).
