She had a molded tail like a McDonald's pony, but she's nearly regular G3 size, slightly smaller. There was a G3 Butterscotch on the shelf below that was the same but I couldn't get a good picture of her. The tags around both their necks said they were from McD's, but the regular McD's ponies weren't this big. I can't say I've seen or heard of these guys before, or maybe I'm just majorly out of the loop on this particular type of pony. Where are they from?

As other have said, she is one of four ponies from Mexican and South American (at least Argentina, others?) McDonalds:

(corrections always welcome!)

I have one like that, but it's Sunny Daze.  The mold looks the same, molded tail and all, but I have no idea where she's from.
That sounds like the Sunny Daze figure/book set from the Avon catalogue :D  I believe there may have been one more from Avon like her, but cannot remember who.  Maybe someone else can confirm.

They are both from book sets:

Sunny Daze was from Avon, and I *believe* Wysteria was sold at Sam's Club.  On second thought, I *think* I ordered her through Amazon, and the one from Sam's Club was actually a plush:

again, my memory is not what it used to be  (corrections always welcome!)

The other one you're thinking of might be this one:

Although Forsythia has a brushable mane and tail, and I *believe* she came from Australia. (corrections always welcome!)
