Need advice about displaying my collection. Any suggestions?

I think ponies look a little bit better when they have some space to move, not pressed shoulder to shoulder.
One option is to keep them on rotation with some of them in Storeage.
I know that until I get enough shelves some of mine are going to stay in boxes.. I could definitely fit them all on the shelves I have, but they'd look so crowded

I think about doing this sometimes too.  Sometimes I miss the early days of my collection when I had 20 ponies and thought i had a large collection. They fit so easily on one small shelf

I feel so conflicted with my collection.  I want a small collection and a large collection at the same time.

I store my ponies in a simple cupboard. It's doors aren't transparent, so nobody knows I have more than 100 ponies behind them =)
