Of the newer Care Bears I've seen in recent years, the one with the artist palette on its tummy is my favorite.

I adored Care Bears as a kid but the only one I ever owned was a plush Cheer Bear.  I wish I still had her.... though I am surprised I never got my favorite, Braveheart Lion, as much as I loved him as a kid.

What really caught me off-guard is only one person's listed Noble Heart Horse so far.  Considering this crowd I would've expected the equine to be more popular.

I'm going to have fakies thrown at me for this but... I've never particularly cared for Brave Heart.  He's incompetent, a trait I don't care for in 'leader' characters.  I do appreciate, however, how he was pretty much the butt of the jokes (when that role wasn't played by Grumpy, of course).

"Charge!"  *Sees unstoppable enemy*  "Charge backwards!"

"Brave Heart Lion to the rescue!"  *Swings down, nowhere near his target, and lands in the lake*

Comedy gold?  Absolutely!  Good character?  Not so much...

OMG, yeess Noble Heart Horse was my favorite from the Care Bear Movie!  Next would be Gentle Heart Lamb.

Also, sorry for steering a little OT, but how AWESOME were the songs from the movie?!    I sometimes get the "Care Alot!" song stuck in my head for no reason, lol.  Favorite song from the movie has to be "Forever Young" (ending credits).  Sweet nostalgia....

My fave Care Bear is Grumpy Bear. He was my first CB, when I went to see the Care Bears Movie in the early 80s, I bought the PVC mini of him dropping his ice cream. I also like Friend Bear, and Tenderheart bear, as I had the FB poseable and a PVC mini, and the 6 inch soft toy of Tenderheart bear in childhood. I sold them in the early days of Ebay, and bought replacements in recent years! I have bought and sold lots of vintage CB stuff on Ebay over the years, but will not get rid of those ever. Plus my friend's sister's bear that moved in with my bears.
I like Braveheart Lion as my fave CB cousin. I have never seen any of the later CB cartoons or films, and don't want to! I like to keep my childhood memories intact!

Birthday Bear-  I got him in my Easter Basket when I was very small...  I just loved his symbol and little heart button, and his nose. He doesn't look quite so pristine these days, alas... (light yellow is maybe not the easiest to keep clean for a 4 year old)
