Haunted ponies. Would this be possible?

Haunted is a new line from Monster High that has dolls with milky semitransparent bodies.

I think deglittered Pinkie Pie Boutique Pinkie Pie would work for Draculaura but what about the others? I know there are some people here who do resin ponies. Would it be possible to make them milky instead of clear and glittery? And would it be possible to do one that is milky but with transparent legs and visible bones?

I know Tiella has done lots of gorgeous resin ponies, and for some of hers she's used different materials that have made them more translucent instead.  I can't find any particular pictures at the moment, but I know I've seen her post some before!

As far as the bones for River Styxx go, I bet you could take a deglittered Wysteria, drill into her legs from the bottom, and fill it with white air-dry clay to make it look like bones!

What about the snowglobe ponies? Maybe you could figure out some kind of translucent finish on them?

Deglittered Wysteria could work for River, but bring tons of patience with you when you start. I deglittered her and it is a frustrating job ;.;

I agree completely!  I have a baity one that I recently deglittered, and that glitter is super stubborn.  I recommend lots of acetone, some good music, and lots of ventilation.  :lol:

Except River (like Twyla) is shorter so she would need to be on a filly body. It's mainly a matter of finding an extra Boutique Pinkie and someone willing to do the rest out of resin (which could set me back quite a bit) or do it myself (I do plan to learn how to cast resin but I really only wanted to do tiny things that aren't ponies since I'm afraid of stepping on other ppl's toes).

I'm new to resin-ing with color, but I don't see a reason why I couldn't. Though, I'm still on small objects.

Yes I could make pony that are sort of solid, but also a little see through. The bones though would pose a pretty big problem. I could probably figure it out, but the labor would be very intensive making the pony very expensive.
