Oh man, there are too many in a month for me to even list. We LOVE silliness here.

Once, my mom was telling me about something she'd read in a magazine about "what's that illness, again?? The one where people can't remember stuff???" We never let her live that one down.

A friend who worked at the Washington Monument in D.C. said one lady asked her how they got all the flags to fly in the same direction. O.o

On my way to work I passed a woman dressed all in purple. Purple boots, purple sparkling leggings, a long purple tunic, a purple purse and purple hair! She was leading her bike, which was purple as well. It was pretty cool and should of looked awesome, but it was all different shades so it just looked weird.

A man in a striped satin clown suit sat on the back seat.  His curly lilac wig completed the candy coloured stripes. He was playing the bongos.

Latest one, some of my classmates were off in South Africa, more specifically the Kruger park during December as part of an optional trip you can get on where I study. And whilst they were out there someone met a German tourist who basically asked 'Excuse me, you're from England? Last time I met someone from England they told me you need a special license in order to use a ladder that's more than three steps high because of health and safety?'

Turned out a while ago that a guy I knew (then in his 20´s) thought that children developed feet first in the uterus. That first came feet, then legs grew out, and so on all the way up to the head that grew out last. My jaw dropped, I´ve never heard anything that dumb. I asked him if he thought premature babies were born headless.
Still haven´t regained repect for that dude. :-P

How about the silliest thing I've *done*?

My old dogger is on antibiotics right now.  Today is her last day of this current round of them (recheck today, probably getting more).  Last night, for her dose, I couldn't find them *anywhere*.  They'd been on my kitchen island, but I had also gotten mad at my island for being cluttered earlier in the day and purged a LOT of stuff off of it.  I looked everywhere for these freaking pills (Clavamox, so they're on that little metal-y envelope strip thing) and couldn't find them.  I dug through the trash twice.  I looked under the fridge and furniture in case they fell on the ground and someone carried them off.  I even called my husband at work to ask him if he maybe somehow accidentally took them with him.  He made we walk through everything I did involving the island yesterday, and I found them... wedged between two recipes in my recipe book?!  I have NO idea how that could have even happened without me noticing!
