Questions regarding eCrater

I recently (12/9) made my first purchase on ecrater.. and I swear the followup on that site is non existent!
I got an email confirmation.
Immediately there after I received another email saying leave feedback when you get your item.
That is it. I can not find a way to track the order, visit the seller's store etc.
I used the link to contact the seller to inquire about shipping, but have had no response, I also sent them a pm here the day I ordered and again today.

My question is - am I missing something? As a buyer I do not have an account, I see no way to see if my items shipped, or see the order or anything??

When I've purchased (specifically from Clipper), He's used paypal to give me tracking information. So I think it may depend on the seller?

hmm, I checked my paypal transaction, nope, nothing there. I had not originally realized the seller was from another country either. The shipping was exceptionally cheap if it was for international. The seller has good feedback on both places, so I am not overtly worried, just trying to understand the site.

I use ecrater (mostly to sell but I've bought as well) and it is pretty much up to the seller to contact you. I generally will send an email with the tracking number and a small thank you note once I've shipped (or if I can't ship within a few days time, I'll send an email letting them know I'll be shipping ASAP). Since you've contacted them the ball is in their court. Since they are a member here, can you maybe check if they have any recent activity?

The strange thing about ecrater is that when someone buys something, I as the seller have to manually hide or delete the ad, otherwise it just stays up. That might be part of why you can't view your order or anything. ecrater is really great in that there are almost no fees, but there is room for improvement. :p

Thanks for the answers girls! I personally have never bought or sold on eCrater. I have looked into it but it didn't fit my needs as a whole, like eBay does.

Cass I would do as PinkRosedust suggested and see if she has been active or you can always try and shoot her another PM to inquire.

Wow, sorry to hear that! Has the person logged onto here lately? I wish people like your seller wouldn't give lesser-known sites a bad name! Ugh!

She just messaged me tonight, she has been away, she will not be home for some time, everything worked out  :)
