I had my folks order me a blue one and a pink one when I was a kid, but I wound up getting two blue ones. I think my favorite from that above picture is the lavender with pink hair.

I wanted the lavendar one so bad, but got the pink one when I ordered it. I really like that one with the star, is she a HTF pony?

And yes, Hannah66665, she was mail order. I saved up my horseshoe points and mailed for her. I think she was the only mail order I got as a kid. We were pretty poor.

The three no-symbol babies were mail order but the white star version came with a story cassette, "Ember's Dream."  I think she dreams the Rainbow Ponies are going to have their pretty hair cut off and begs them not to go to a party (at Dream Castle??) but they go anyway and their hair is cut off by ::insert evil person I can't remember::

I remember asking to get two Embers, one pink and one blue when I sent in my horse shoe points. They would have been brother and sister.  Hasbro sent me two blues with a note about being out of pink at the moment - or something to that effect. (I admit I might be remembering wrong because that was a skillion years ago.) I was bummed, but I made them twin sisters.

Purple with pink hair, because that's how she looked in the TV special. That's the TRUE Ember.

My favorite one is the purple/lavender Ember with pink hair and no symbol. My grandparents had a copy of Rescue from Midnight Castle and I watched it many many times at their house. I didn't even know there were other versions of Ember until much later. I had a lot of my little ponies in my childhood herd but no mail orders. I think I only knew about Ember from the cartoon.
