Gravity Falls--anyone else watch it?

It's a great mixture of adventure, humor, and paranormal.  I looove the characters, especially Mabel and Great-Uncle Stan.

Grunkle Stan is best character. This cartoon is excellent, especially how they recently have fleshed-out Soos' background story.

i've seen the books at bn, but haven't seen the show. any clue which state it's in? looks alot like my g-parent's home town.
that would be pretty cool.

It's set in Oregon.    I think they mentioned it in the first episode somewhere.

I was surprised at how good it actually was. I sorta expected it to be a limited children's adventure show, but instead it has a very sophisticated plot with lots of subplots and twists to keep you watching. It's a fascinating story, and I've been quite taken with it.

Mabel is awesome!  I want all of her sweaters... also, they picked the perfect voice actress for her.  I love Kristen Schaal.

I've been enjoying Gravity Falls quite a bit!  I started watching it in the first season and it's been pretty fantastic ever since!  The puzzles and ciphers especially are pretty great.  I was able to solve quite a few of them from the first season, but the second season uses a more complicated way to decode them so I just go read the answers on the wiki instead.

Got into it through my cousin and her friends, I've been watching through the first season with them. I like it so far! It's a bit weird though as Kristin Schaal also does the voice of Louise in Bob's Burgers, so I keep hearing Louise instead of Mabel while watching.

I keep hearing Mel, from Flight of the Conchords, so it's really weird any time I hear her voice a character.  She did a voice on Archer and I said "Hey, it's Mel!", when I first started watching Bob's Burgers I was like "Hey, it's Mel!" and the same with Gravity Falls.    She will always be Mel to me.
